About Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley
Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley is a warm and welcoming, modern Conservative Synagogue that has been a center of Jewish life in the Pascack Valley of Bergen County, New Jersey since 1927.
Our services are spiritual and inclusive. The Rabbi guides the congregation in interpreting the prayers. Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat services are made more meaningful by the lovely melodies from the Cantor. Shabbat morning finds voices raised in song and prayer in our magnificent sanctuary.
It is a place where our children – and, often, their children – learn to appreciate the gift of their Jewish heritage.
TEPV is located on a beautiful hill in Woodcliff Lake but our members come from more than a dozen towns in the Pascack Valley and beyond. Our membership is currently over 500 family units who live in towns from Mahwah and Upper Saddle River to River Vale and Emerson and everywhere in between.
